Sam Bazrafshan, DPM
Dr. Sam Bazrafshan was raised in Knoxville, Tennessee and obtained his Bachelor’s degree from The University of Tennessee. He then graduated at the top of his class from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery.
Dr. Bazrafshan completed his residency at Bethesda Health Systems with specialization on reconstructive and trauma surgery of the foot and ankle, infection management, Diabetic foot reconstruction and limb salvage. He is a published author in the Journal of American Podiatric Medical Association and a recurrent lecturer on critical limb ischemia. Dr. Bazrafshan returned to Tennessee to serve the Greater Chattanooga area with particular focus on foot and ankle reconstructive surgery, innovative minimal incision surgery, limb salvage, sports injuries, and trauma.
Dr. Bazrafshan is Board Certified through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Tennessee Podiatric Medical Association, and an Associate of the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons. He is currently on staff at Parkridge Medical Centers, CHI Memorial facilities and Hamilton Medical Center.
When Dr. Bazrafshan is not treating patients, he enjoys hiking, golfing, and spending time with his wife and two children.
